Chianti Events organizes tours of the local wine producers of the Chianti region. Strolling through our hills, vineyards and olive groves with Barbara, a sommelier and wine writer (Tuscany Unlimited and the Italian magazine Il Sommelier), who will explain all you need to know about this region and the wine making process. The wine tours are whole days or half days out in Chianti or if you wish in other wine areas of Tuscany visiting the historical wineries of our beautiful region. An informal introduction will be given in the basic techniques of wine tasting as well as the wine making methods and some tips on how to pair wine with food. Where possible, all the above will be done with a glass in your hand!
